Job Description

Our Birmingham based client are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join them on a permanent basis, providing support across different departments. This would be a great opportunity for a competent Secretary to get into the legal field. You must have experience in a Legal Secretary role.

Flexibility, adaptability and a strong work ethic are essential. It is a great role for the right candidate who thrives on change, new challenges and enjoys working with different people on a regular basis. 

Monday-Friday 
£27,000-£30,000


Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide the  office with operational, typing, secretarial and administrative support;
  • Work responsibly to support the needs of the office and the priorities given; prioritise own workload effectively, delivering a quality service;
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, including legal checks and confidentiality.
  • Support other teams when needed and work cooperatively within the firm.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail in all mediums i.e. post, emails and fax transmissions.
  • Help with financial admin like recording time and preparing bills.
  • Assist with digital dictation and administrative support across the company in line with the company’s workflow ethic.

  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Happy working across different teams
  • Strong IT skills - proficient in microsoft office software
  • Strong work ethic
