Technical Sales Executive – Guardrail, Fencing & Street Furniture
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire (NG17)
Full-Time | Salary: 35k DoE

Are you a motivated and technically-minded individual with experience in engineering or fabrication? We are working with our client who are a leading UK steel fabricator with over 30 years of success in highways infrastructure, bespoke metalwork, and architectural structures.

If you're someone who enjoys technical conversations, solving customer problems and turning enquiries into engineered solutions — this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Speaking with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions
• Preparing accurate costings and quotes from engineering drawings
• Liaising with suppliers for material pricing
• Explaining our product range in a clear, customer-focused way
• Working with in-house engineers to ensure technical accuracy
• Visiting client sites for project discussions and (optionally) conducting surveys
• Contributing ideas to help grow new business opportunities
• Participating in relevant training and team meetings

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a technical or fabrication/engineering environment
• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Presentable, personable, and professional
• Engineering qualification (Degree or HNC/HND) – advantageous but not essential
• Site surveying experience – a plus, but not required
