Due to company growth, we are recruiting for a Service & Maintenance Solar Electrician for a fantastic company in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity well suited to an individual with existing experience in installing, servicing and maintaining domestic and commercial renewable energy systems, namely solar PV.

From £40,000
Permanent role

Service & Maintenance Solar Electrician - The Role: 

• Servicing of both ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar panel systems
• Fault finding on a range of solar PV installations
• Carrying our maintenance and repair work on commercial and domestic solar PV and other renewable energy installations
• Face to face customer communication during service & maintenance visits
• Applicant must have good communication and social skills and be happy to travel to multiple locations - a driving license is essential (company vehicle provided)

Service & Maintenance Solar Electrician - Key requirements:
  
This job role is open to a fully qualified engineer. Some of the below qualifications are not essential but highly advantageous:

• Driving licence (Essential)
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Experience of installing Solar PV systems
• Experience of servicing and carrying our maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems
• Experience of installing battery storage systems (advantageous)
• IPAF or working at heights equivalent (advantageous)
• Health & Safety or First Aid qualifications (advantageous)
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or equivalent (essential)
• Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391)
