Job Description

Our fantastic client, based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their friendly team. You will handle general inbound sales calls and emails for all their various products, as well as be able to read drawings. 

Permanent role.
£32,000
Monday to Friday, early finish on a Friday.
25 days + bank holidays.

Technical Sales - The Role:

• Chatting with potential clients and getting an understanding of what they require.
• Prepare accurate costings from initial enquiries. Must be able to read drawings.
• Liaise with suppliers if required for material prices.
• Explaining their products in a way that makes sense to customers.
• Working with their technical team to make sure the customers get the best fit.
• Attendance to site and or of customer facilities for project discussion and site measures when required.

Technical Sales - The Candidate:

• A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (Not essential but an advantage)
• Previous experience in an engineering / fabrication environment.
• Be able to read drawings and quote accordingly.
• Personable, presentable, and articulate
• A sound understanding of manufacturing, engineering/fabrication principles.
• Strong administration, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience in site surveying (Not essential but an advantage)
