Kirkland Associates are delighted to be seeking a Product Engineer for our client based in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Engineer with experience within the concrete industry to join an industry leader within the construction industry.
Product Engineer – The Role:
- To project manage approval test programmes for the chemical anchoring product range at internal or external testing houses and report on status monthly
- To develop knowledge of the performance requirements, test standards and the assessment process for chemical anchoring products
- To work closely with the Senior Product Engineer to ensure that the company has up to date approvals for use in countries across the world
- To manage the transfer of approvals to customers as requested by the Business Development Managers, recording all details within CRM/ERP system
- To create and maintain Product Data Sheets containing all technical information regarding the products offered to customers
- To research and investigate structural codes, approvals, and potential opportunities, based on the requirements of the global construction industry
Product Engineer – The Candidate:
- Educated to degree level or above in a relevant Engineering subject
- Between 1 and 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Sound understanding of structural engineering concepts
- Willing to develop in-depth knowledge about the international product approval process and the industry sector
- Project management skills
- Problem-solving and research skills
- Analysis, documentation and report writing skills
- IT skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
