Job Description
Our Birmingham based client are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Account Manager to join their team. You should be positive and enthusiastic, having the ability to provide clients with an outstanding service. Candidates must have experience of working in the security sector.Permanent role.
£45,000 + commission
Account Manager - The Role:
- To manage a number of key contracts within the business
- To secure and maintain strong, professional and high-quality relationships with their customer base
- To gain and maintain a strong, strategic understanding of our customers’ needs
- To act as the voice of the customer within the business
- To gain and maintain a strong relationship with manufacturers, distributors and consultants within the security sector
- To work with their customers to produce solutions that meet their operational and strategic needs, acting as their trusted and professional guide
- To survey, design and quote for the installation, service and maintenance of a range of life safety and CCTV systems.
- To work with the wider team to support the submission of tenders and bids for new business
- To work with the Head of Customer Engagement to produce commercial forecasts
Account Manager - The Role:
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience of providing a world class customer experience
- Experience of working within the Security Sector
- Strong knowledge of complex CCTV systems, associated transmission and networks
- Experience of designing or installing security, life safety and connected systems
- Experience of constructing build sheets and quotations
- Experience of submitting competitive tenders and bids
- Understanding of integrated and networked systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Good commercial understanding
- Excellent customer service skills
- IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft software packages
