Field Service Engineer - Plant Machinery
 
West Midlands - Birmingham, Worcester, Coventry, Warwick
 
£17.65 per hour basic with higher earning potential

Kirkland Associates are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide maintenance and repairs for an internationally renowned plant equipment manufacturer.

The Role:

• Attending customer sites to complete scheduled services and repairs to plant equipment - Milling, Crushing, Paving, Rollers
• Ensure all work is conducted in a safe manner in compliance with H&S procedures
• Fault finding and testing of machinery
• Carry out commissions, demonstrations and operator training when required
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, building and maintaining positive relationships 

The Candidate:

• Experience of repairing & servicing road construction & open-cast mining equipment (5 years minimum)
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering/Plant Maintenance or equivalent
• Willing to travel extensively throughout the UK at short notice with overnight stays required
• Always striving to provide excellent customer service
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• UK Driving Licence
