Job Description

My client based in Leicester are looking for an experienced Merchandising professional to join their team on a permanent basis as a Systems Merchandiser. 
 
Systems Merchandiser - The Role
  • Analyse gross margins against expected margin daily for new contracts/ orders and analyse these to ensure that the sales and purchase documents are correct in the system.
  • Escalate any issues to the relevant team to resolve any posting errors related to cost, qty or margin.
  • Report weekly on any issues identified and resolution or timeline for resolution.
  • Ensure training manuals are rectified as needed for user errors.
  • Ensure working with finance team closely to ensure that documents are processed correctly in our financial ERP.
  • Be a systems superuser and work with the Systems and Data team to maintain gross margin and escalate actual problems to the sales, merchandising or logistics team to ensure corrective action is taken as needed in a timely manner.
Systems Merchandiser - The Candidate
  • We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working for a fashion supplier within Merchandising. 
  • You will become the Merchandising functional systems expert, so excellent critical path management experience is required along with ERP system implementation experience.
  • This is a role that will require considerable attention to detail and analysing large amounts of data and reconciling packing lists to purchase and sales documents and also financial entries within the system so will suit someone numerically inclined who enjoys working with large data sets.
