Job Description

Due to expansion, my client are seeking an Artworker to join their busy Graphics department designing POS. 
 
Please note that this is a fully office based role.
 
 
The Role:
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Artwork to ensure timely completion of all projects.
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of print prepress processes, including preparing print-ready PDFs for digital flat-bed and roll-fed printers.
  • Interpret briefs and revisions from Account Managers; responsible for applying artwork to technical drawings, creating custom prototype artwork, and preparing final production files.
  • Capable of managing and prioritising both prototype and production tasks as needed.
  • Understand material specifications and various printing processes.
  • Provide quality checks on artwork before printing to support team members.
  • Offer support to the Head of Artwork during peak periods and downtime.
  • Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a creative or artwork studio environment 
  • Proficient in the latest Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Proven experience in signage, retail graphics, POS, and display sectors is essential.
  • Expertise in creating cutter guides, applying artwork to development drawings, setting up files for prototypes, and laying out production panels.
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
