Job Description

My client are an established and growing Law Firm in Milton Keynes who are seeking a Legal Cashier to join their team. Working within a large legal cashiering function, you will be responsible for ensuring all day-to-day transactions across both client and office bank accounts are processed accurately, within appropriate deadlines.

Candidates with Legal Cashier experience would be preferred however our client can consider candidates from Accounts roles in non-Legal environments. 

Permanent role.
Salary dependent on experience.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closure. You’ll also get a day off for your birthday!

Legal Cashier - The Role:

• Inputting and processing client transactions
• Reconciling and maintaining client ledgers
• Reconciling client and office bank accounts
• Managing the recovery of WIP, fees and disbursements in conjunction with the fee earners

Legal Cashier - The Candidate:

• Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of client and/or office cashiering and will have extensive and up to date knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.
• Be a strong communicator
• Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloads.
