Job Description

WELDER/FABRICATOR

Loughborough, Leicestershire
Day shift:
7.15am – 16.15pm (Monday – Thursday) 30-minutes unpaid lunch break
7.15am – 12.15 (Friday)

Basic rate - £14.87 ph

MUST HAVE HEAVY STEEL EXPERIENCE

Experienced Welder/Fabricators required to work on structural steel for long-term national infrastructure and housebuilding projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Two years qualified experience of MIG, MMA welding
To be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
Proven experience in carrying out full penetration butt welds and muti-run fillets overlayed
Excellent understanding of welding codes and standards
Experience of using oxy-acetylene kit, plasma kits for burning and jig work
Working with heavy steel required
