Job Description

We are looking for an HR Manager to provide comprehensive and professional HR services to our client in the Melton Mowbray area. This is a generalist role where you'll be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, ensuring best practices in employment, recruitment, training and development, benefits and employee relations.

£36,000 
Monday to Friday

Senior HR Officer - The Role
  • Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management and off-boarding
  • Build strong working relationships across the business, delivering value-added services to management and employees
  • Provide HR guidance and support to management where necessary
  • Develop, implement and improve HR policies and procedures that comply with UK legal requirements
  • Manage contractual paperwork, including offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Maintain employee records and update HR systems
  • Provide advice and support on employee relations, disciplinary actions and grievance procedures
  • Administer employee payroll and absence management
  • Produce HR reports as required
Senior HR Officer - The Candidate:
  • Experience working in HR at Manager level
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach to work
