Job Description
Our fantastic client, based in Beeston, are looking for an Finance Assistant to join their friendly team due to a period of continued growth. You will support the existing Finance team, ensuring all ledgers operate efficiently. The ability to multi-task is essential and the ideal candidate will be resourceful, organised and able to use their own initiative to problem solve. Hybrid working available once trained.

- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Credit control
- Staff expenses, including credit card reconciliation
- Reporting
- Bank posting & reconciliation
- Support with production of monthly management accounts
- Support with year end accounting processes
- Maths & English GCSEs or equivalent grade C or above
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Numerical & analytical skills
- Attention to detail and considerate of implications
- Intermediate in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
- Ability to multi-task successfully
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
- Preferably working working towards AAT level 3 minimum
- Experience of using Sage software (preferably Sage 200)
