Account Manager

Job Description

Our client, a family-owned business in Castle Donington, are looking for an Account Manager to join their team. They have a very consultative approach and the role is all about understanding clients needs, advising them on products and building relationships. Please note the role will require some travel within the UK, and occasional overseas travel.

£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

Account Manager – The Role:
  • Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers – by understanding their needs and requirements, providing excellent customer service and support, and providing expert product knowledge
  • Manage and develop key customer accounts
  • Provide training and expertise on their product range
  • Sales analysis – understanding of their market sectors, identify gaps, market trends and industry changes
  • Plan and attend trade exhibitions
  • Co-ordinate and develop marketing materials
Account Manager – The Candidate:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong commercial relationships
  • High degree of IT literacy
  • Analytical skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable with travel both nationwide and abroad.
