Job Description

My client are a market leader in their field with an excellent reputation across the UK.
They are seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working as a team of 2 credit controllers within a finance team of 7, you will be responsible for collecting all cash from customers according to customer terms as well as allocating and posting all receipts across the UK, Dubai and Irish sites.
Job Role:
- Daily cash allocation on 3 bank accounts – in EUR / GBP / AED for cash / card / BACS payments
- Proactively managing and collecting customers’ debts according to terms agreed.
- Raising credit notes from customer returns
- Ensure all 90 day debt is reviewed, understood and a plan is in place to clear
- Build clear reports to present to Senior Mgmt on a weekly and monthly basis to update the position on the debt position.
- Preparation of statements and copy invoices
- Query resolution via phone and emails
- Setting up customers on Experian to be risk tracked
- Ensuring that Sage X3 is updated with correct customer contact details
The Candidate:
- Previous recent credit control experience processing high volumes of low value orders.
- Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
- Excellent IT skills especially excel, email
- Ideally experience of Sage X3
- Good communicator & team player – must have the ability to work as a team and communicate any issues to colleagues in order that deadlines can be met.
- Excellent organisational skills
