Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary in the child care area of their Family department in Sheffield. 

The successful candidate must be professional and efficient when liaising with clients as they may come across difficult or disturbing cases, and clients can be extremely emotional at times. 

This role will include duties such as liaising with various parties by telephone, email and letters; filing; diary management, and other secretarial tasks. Additionally, during busy periods the candidate will be expected to provide support to other secretaries within the Family Law department. 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Excellent copy and digital audio typing skills with a speed of at least 65WPM
- Capability to prioritise workload
- Confidence in using various computer systems
- Knowledge of Mattersphere document management and BigHand digital dictation

Experience in this type of role is essential
Salary is dependent on experience.
