Job Description

Our client in Derby is looking for a Paralegal to join their busy Conveyancing department.

The successful candidate will assist the Conveyancing team with both conveyancing and administrative duties to help ensure a smooth client experience throughout the transaction.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;
  • liaising with clients,
  • liaising with third-parties including lenders, solicitors and agents,
  • completing file opening and closing procedures,
  • ordering of property searches,
  • processing client ID checks,
  • processing client correspondence including emails and letters, and
  • completing post-completion tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience as a Paralegal or Assistant in a Conveyancing Department
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good communication skills through verbal and written communication
  • A positive attitude to work
