Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Kirkland Associates are seeking a Project Design Engineer to join their clients Engineering team who are a Tier 1 supplier in the Automotive industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied projects from the initial customer enquiry through to site installation. You will have a flexible approach to working due to the projects undertaken with a genuine enthusiasm to assist colleagues in other departments.

Project Design Engineer - The role

• Produce designs for customers using SolidWorks
• Conduct site surveys
• Produce parts list & Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Work closely with the workshop during the fabrication process

Project Design Engineer - The candidate

• Proficient in the use of SolidWorks or similar software
• Confident to engage with customers by phone and on site
• Willingness to work away when necessary including abroad
• Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm to assist other colleagues when required
