Job Description

Our fantastic client, based in Castle Donington, are looking for IT Support to join their friendly team. You will take ownership of hardware and software incidents from diagnosis to point of fix.

Monday to Friday
£28,000 - £34,000

IT Support – The Role:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd Line support on hardware / software for all users in the business, ensuring all support calls are logged accurately and cases are resolved.
  • Installing and configuring of computer hardware / software.
  • To liaise with 3rd party companies to troubleshoot issues with hardware / software and maintain good relations with the teams involved.
  • To reduce the volume of support calls by applying appropriate preventative measures such as updates, regular maintenance checks and training.
  • Continually review bespoke company software & procedures making the case for changes where required.
  • To provide specific training to end users in need of computer training whether that be hardware or software.
  • Work closely UK IT Technician on company website project.
IT Support – The Candidate:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of various software
  • Databases and networking skills
  • Have good communication skills and keep up to date with technology advancements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • To be able to work off own initiative and work well within a team
