My client are world leaders in integrated inspection, testing, certification, and advisory services. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team, playing an instrumental part in business growth within their Health and Nutrition Advisory Service. This is a nation wide remote role, with the following key responsibilities:
Actively prospect and win new business whilst organically growing existing accounts, measured against KPI targets.
Relationship manage newly developed Key Accounts to ensure projections are realised and maximise all opportunities.
Plan and execute sales/commercial visits to existing and potential new customers in line with pre-set KPI targets. Ensuring that each meeting has a strategic purpose of growth and/or evolution of the business with that specific customer.
Develop and implement annual sales plan and market analysis.
Monitor and report on a sales pipeline against the agreed sales plan – meeting KPI targets to ensure delivery of agreed revenue.
Negotiate pricing and terms of supply for each designated contract/prospect with a win/win attitude with the mind-set to maximise profitability and added value.
Approach every opportunity/prospect with the solution based attitude. Ensuring all sales are made on a consultative basis.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Proven successful sales experience within food retail
Successful tender and qualification experience
A high level of drive and ambition
The ability to build longstanding positive relationships.
A full driving license
